In a good way. Steering feel has not been compromised.

Re: V70R tire pressure (TexasV70R)

I run 36 PSI in my 17" Pirelli Pilot Sport 2's on a 2004 V70 R. Seems to work perfectly. Mostly mountain twisty driving. oclv

Re: (R_Rated)

36-37 for PS all seasons.
Your dealer is a *&&%^$% idiot and has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. NO tire for the R should be run at those pressures

Re: V70R tire pressure (row)

Theoretically more front pressure may give a little oversteer but in an AWD Volvo they should be the same.
He is incorrect in running different pressure on an R
34-37 unloaded is just fine
37-39 loaded

Since you are probably the ONLY person to run staggered tires pressures
'ya think we're all maybe on to something?
(I've tried every pressure which way from Sunday, whatever they are, even all around seems to work better)
I don't disagree with you in general, I run 2 to 4 lbs more in the fronts of my FWD Volvos, but it doesn't work as well in an R
