All or neither. Just one set would look positively stupid.
Check the gallery, couple of shots there.

Re: V70R mud flaps (whoosh)

I have the Volvo mud flaps on my V70 R. They look fine and seem to work well. I live in huge snow country and I have only had one fall off in three winters while backing out of a parking spot through a snow plow berm. oclv

Re: V70R mud flaps (row)

Good quality and they offer real protection unlike other manufacturers.
I have a steep and tall side curve on my house exit so I scrap them every time I leave home (the entrance is not steep). Even with that scrapping they have more than 3 years on the car and they are doing well. They made of plastic that can flex if needed.
About the installation you need a rivet gun ($20 at Lowe/Home Depot and is hand tool), and a drill to take the existing rivets out. It is a doit yourself job.
Some people are concern about snow accumulation in the winter but I haven't found that to be a problem.
The only issue here is if you like how the car looks or not. I like my V70R with them.

Re: V70R mud flaps (whoosh)

I have them and got them at delivary in Gothenburg. My car is lowered so everytime I go over a speed bump (every where here in SA) my wife cringes as they scrape. I see them as kind of an under carriage scrape detector. Make sure when they are installed you install the small clear plastic piece on your body as this will keep the mud flap when flexing from scratching your paint.

They are great in protecting lower body parts.
Here are some pics of mine with F1 tires and 10mm spacers, both being decisions based upon input from knowledgeable Swedespeeders.
http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=62199
Re: V70R mud flaps (FastWgn)

Yes, I know that but that was what people where told in 2004 by the dealers when they asked for the front ones. They were saying that the front ones are only for non-R cars because of issues with snow accumulation. I ordered the S60 ones and installed them myself. They are perfect fit.
