Glad you got it on there! Now that I see the shift knob in the picture, that one definitely came stock on the newer P2 70 series cars and probably C70s from 2001 on. Looks good.

If you want the period-correct leather shift knob for a gen 70 series here it is: 9183646 Volvo Grey Leather shift knob $60 or so.
This is the one I have on my car and the same that "bill d cat" has shown in his pictures.

So there are 2 options for leather shift knobs.

Very nice! Bit more expensive with the later style boot but if your old one is ripped anyway...nice upgrade.

That's ludicrous! I got mine from DW less than 9 months ago for $60.
I hope the price hasn't gone up 100+% in that time period.
