I have a 2004 V70 AWD that is due for new tires. Does anyone with a similar vehicle have suggestions for new tires to replace the Michelin MXV4 Plus tires that came with the car. We didn't care for the handling MXV4's and would like to find a little bit quieter tire since so much road noise seems to transmit to the interior.
I recently put Michelin Pilot Exalto's on my VW Passat and like them in that application. Any other recommendations would be welcome for the Volvo.

Re: V70 AWD Replacement Tire Question (V70pilot)

They would be fine (have them on my Lexus) but the MXV4's are not a noisy tire

Did you ask Oscar at Tirerack in the Wheel and Tire forum?
He only knows/recommends TR's products but he's pretty good -- I'm very happy with the snows he suggested.

I have been looking at these
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...ace=2
They have a really good rating by other volovo owners. The size diff is under 1%. 215/65/16 Stock vs 235/60/16
Not to mention the price!
