Hi folks, anybody experienced the P* setup on a T6 V60 please? I’m keen to maintain a decent ride with improved composure so exploring this route before I go Koni FSD & Eibach.

Thanks in advance.

Not really an apples to apples comparison, however I do like the Polestar Performance Chassis over the stock R-Design on a 2016 XC60. Another member mentioned it is much more composed over road imperfections, I would agree with him on that comment. Ride height dropped slightly as well. Feels more controlled in curved on ramps under acceleration as well.

Here is the exterior aspect, for my taste a little too high at the front but perfect at the rear, otherwise the driving is perfect in the curves

How many people have swapped turbos on our cars?

I have a T6-RD 2015.5 with basicallt every mid you can think of, and am debating larger turbo or not?

I do not track the car. Daily driver, just for fun...

Marco.

Otherwise I have a friend who has the P * performance chassis kit (much cheaper than Ohlins), around £ 750 if I had it at ELK Performance in UK.
he is very satisfied with it too! a little firmer than the RD chassis kit

That looks cool, great to hear ride doesn’t suffer and great in curves...noting mines on 85k reckon a huge improvement to expected. Thanks for all your feedback folks will wait and see on upgrading to P* 19” wheels until I’ve sampled the ride on 18s

Do you have the part # for the P * performance chassis kit? I've reached out to Elk Performance twice now and they've never returned my question.

$750 for calipers, rotors, lines etc?? That seems like a steal! I thought this setup was about $2-3k for just the front

£750 (~$950) is for the Polestar chassis suspension kit and not the brakes I think.

I have been looking into this kit from Elk as well. I am picking up my 2011 V60 T6 tomorrow, and have a lot of bits to bolt on that I had for my V70 T6 that got written off last month. Polestar tune is first up.

Then in goes a Polestar turbo, Porsche 6 pot Brembos, do88 FMIC, downpipe and TDI Tuning Box.

Vasyl posted a great dyno result with his S60 T6's Stage 2 setup with a Hilton tune.

I believe the numbers are 347hp with 499 ft/lb at the wheels.

https://youtu.be/sd5GLU24soI

He is planning to look into a turbo upgrade.

I am running the Polestar Performance Parts accessory springs on my S60CC project. These are a more affordable solution than going with the full Polestar Ohlïns setup, which feel great and offer adjustability. The front springs sit a little high on the Polestar cars and some owners seek a lowering spring for the front. I am happy with the stance of my S60 and the ride quality is firm but not harsh. The suspension is a nice daily driver configuration.

Measurements on a 2016 S60CC with R-Design suspension:
26.25 inches to the top center front fender flare edge.
26.75 inches to the top center rear fender flare edge

with 19-inch Polestar wheels:

with 20-inch Cratus wheels:

With Koni Active shocks and struts (photo prior to spring install)
