Hey guys, I know I've just been lurking for a while and not posting, but I thought I'd post this.<P>I saw this posted on the forums of one of the *other* Volvo sites out there. Its looks as though it might be an actual photo, comparing it to known computer-enhanced spy shots. Though, I hope its a clever fake. The design lacks the unique feel that used to be Volvo. The pics of the new V90 are equally uninspired. After seeing those 2 cars, the S80, the SCC, and the XC90, I am beginning to think Volvo has completely lost its design direction. At least the S60's exterior is of good design. Though they need to do something about that interior...

I hope you (Yannis) are correct in regards to the photo being that of Golf. I'm looking forward to see V50 will be heading. Did development on the V50 begin after Ford purchased Volvo and if so what effect (if any) will that have on the V50 and other future Volvos developed within the Ford family. <P>In regards to the S60 vs. the S80, I've found the S80 to look frumpy and droopy. It headlamps seem to curve down as they move away from the grille, giving the car almost a sad look. And when viewed from angles, the shoulder of the car seems to droop down as it gets towards the end. The S60 seems much sharper and its features in proportion. There is very little I'd change.<P>Have you seen the supposed shots of the V90? Though they are clearly doctored, do you think they are from a genuine test vehicle? Do you like the apparent design?
