Hi I’ve just joined and hope this is in the right place.
im looking for advice with my sons 08 v50 d5 it’s showing no fault codes, and it goes as if it’s in limp mode no power whatsoever I’ve cleaned the throttle body and the egr I’ve looked for any pipes off and tried to find any vacuum leaks , the swirl flaps have been disconnected by the previous owner , I’ve had my friend put his autel on but has found nothing I think it’s a euro 5 engine, any help advice would be gratefully received.

If you say no error codes from the obd, seems like previous owner has done something to the ecu so it doesnt throw any codes. I mean, my first thing to check would be the swirl flaps, had plenty of d5’s with swirl flap “arm” problem, the joints are loose and the arm falls off. But since you say swirl flaps are programmed off, then it might be anything since you got no error codes.
Altough i dont believe there are no codes from obd
