hello all,
I urgently need some advice before the next 12 hours and I would be eternally grateful to those who respond to this thread.
Bascially there are two cars that I potentially want to buy:
1) MY 2003 Black C70 T5 GT Coupe, 38000 miles, Granite Interior. £10,000 / $17,500
2) MY2004 Flash Green S60R, 34000 miles, Atacama Interior, TV/SatNav/Phone. £14000 / $22500

The C70 T5 GT is marginally more affordable. I will basically pay about £100 / $175 less a month for it.
Which one do you think I should go for?
Please help. I am tearing my hair out trying to make a decision. Basically I think the C70 is better looking and more unique, but everytime I see its interior it makes it look too old and knackered. The S60R is fresh and the new kid on the block, but its a big saloon.
Thank you!!

Token...
From a practical viewpoint....how often will you actually be able to enjoy the "droptop" feature of the C70 in England? maybe 4-5 months a year?...and that is only when it is not raining!
Not withstanding the "issues" that the C70 might have...............I would get the R Better performance..better handling..better ride...bigger trunk...more interior space...want me to keep going? Or do you get my message? THE R!

Yes I know I posted in two forums. If you look in the R forum, i mentioned it was a double post because I only had 12 hours to make a decision and needed as many responses as possible. I got more responses from the R forum.
By putting my name down it means I have committed to the R, told this to the loan company, contacted the seller who is simply waiting for me to pick it up and soon as the money arrives in my account.

S 60R, no question... Unless you like a LOT of torque steer.
The AWD system and suspension settings makes the car WORLDS ahead of the C70's, not to mention the power.

All S60R factory tire/wheel combos have minimal speedo error. Aftermarket wheels/tires may not match the stock rolling radius at high speed. This is easy to check with a stop watch and KM road markers.
George Dill
