Okay so while sitting, staring at my car late last night (I know you all share quiet time with your cars as well) She started telling me that although she appreciated the new footwear that she felt a little exposed. I stepped back and realized that it was true...peaking out from behind those gorgeous narrow spoked Ultraleggeras were a set of beautifully sculpted R Calipers biting down on saucerplates(yuck).
I know it has been discussed in the past about Cross drilled vs. Slotted and the cautionary tales, but after the pleading from my S60R I rushed inside and visited the Brembo site as I believe they outfitted us with the fantastic setup we have. I found a Granturismo kit (part #09.5682.78/88) that seem to be the exact size of our current disk. Wouldn't these fit? It seems now I...ummm the car won't be happy until I make ammends.

Re: Ultraleggera wheels expose one problem... (Johnnylaws60r)

One of the reasons I'm really looking forward to my OZs, will make the big ol Brembo R calipers more visible.

Johnny:
When you go to the Brembo site and use the search, it is application for the P2 S60/V70 platform (front only). The granturismo kit consist with the F40 caliper, 332mm rotor (floating set-up), rotor hat, SS brake line and pads and caliper adapter if necessary but at $3.5k for the set, it is pricey (especially considering what you gain, some shedding of unsprung weight and "look").
The R already have Brembo calipers, so you probably only need the two piece rotors. Even if that Brembo rotors fit our R (using stock caliper) they might not sell you just the rotors/hats. You can buy the directional vaned rotors from EST (fixed 2 piece) or Evolve (floating 2 piece). If you want to go all four corners then Evolve is the only option currently

ViVA Performance is now selling two piece light weight slotted rotors for the front. Rears not available yet.
Evolve has rears, but the two guys over here in Europe that ordered Evolve rear rotors had real problems. Check current Evolve threads for details.

Kelly:
Yep, forgot about Viva
You said two guys in Europe order the rear Evolve. Other than Jesse (speedemon) who else.
According to the Evolve brake manufacturer, there are only five set of that rear rotor hat with the larger diameter, the rest have the correct diameter.
Evolve got one, I got one, Jesse (speedemon) got one but was replaced, Pie-ya got one. So your other friend must have got the last one.

Thanks All, I would only inquire about the Front Rotors from Brembo and think that they might be willing to sell just the rotors and the hats as they have a separate part numbers from the kit...I would imagine that for those with Gran Turismo kits at some point they need to replace certain components. I looked at Vida and Evolve, didn't realize Evolve is the only manufacturer that supplied rear Disks? Thanks
