Not sure on which engine is best yet depends on fuel prices. <br>best to sell post 2001 cars and have something older I think, until the rules change again possibly. Luckily I am not affected at the present with my 97 v70. Also most of the brand new cars sold are company fleet vehicles so the actual drivers don't have to pay apart from company car tax. But hopefully it will stop the idea of having a 2 ton 4x4 to go to tesco's with after tacking the 1 child to school in concrete london where there is no mud.<p>unfotunately govt is trying to make back lost revenue from less people smoking etc. therefore you don't get something for nothing.<p>The big Volvo's though are heavy on fuel and not that clean unfortunately.<br>ccars upto estate size should be taxed normally as they are now and clobber over 3000cc or weight of vehicle over 1.7 ton. <br>Give me your view<br>
