What are some of the common repair and maintenance issues that show up between 50K to 100K miles in either the V50 or the comparable S40?

I have read a couple of comments mentioning suspension wear and tear. Are any of these usually serious or expensive for a V50/S40 model within that mileage range?

Related to suspension, how well do these vehicles hold their alignments?

Repairs are based on car abuse. None if you baby it.
Maintenance, spark plugs, coolant flush, transmission fluid flush, maybe drain and fill the power steering fluid if it feels tight. Basically all the fluids.

Suspension is cheap if you do it yourself and stick with stock parts. It adds up when you start going with performance components.

These vehicles hold their alignment just as well as any other car I've had experience with. But it really boils down to the raods in your area how well you avoid/approach potholes, speed bumps, driveway lips, etc.
