Hej Hej,

Hopefully everyone is having an enjoyable summer and trying to stay cool!

Here are two upcoming events that I wanted to share with the membership......

Integrity Automotive (Paul Faust) is moving and requesting help!

The move date is Thursday, July 27th. He is requesting help from 11:00am to 3pm. The move will be a short 15 minute drive from Afton to the new location in Fenton.

Anyone able to help is welcome. Paul can be reached at 314-717-5556. We'll will keep our fingers crossed for weather that is not crazy hot!!!

Here is information regarding an event in Kansas City. (Doug and Kathy are planning to attend)
Attending a drive in theater is a unique experience. The Boulevard Drive In has done an outstanding job of blending nostalgia and current technology to provide a superb evening of entertainment. Grab your favorite Volvo (or any lesser marquee if you desire) and join your friends for a night at the movie.

Saturday, July 22nd, the Volvo fanatics of the Kansas City area will meet for a night at the drive-in. We’ll be invading the Boulevard Drive In located at 1051 Merriam Ln Kansas City, KS 66103 http://boulevarddrivein.com.

Click here to access a quick survey to indicate if you will be able to attend and some other info to help us plan.

The Drive In has a special covered group area we have reserved called “The Party Pad”. We’ll be providing dinner prior to the show. We’ve been given early admittance to the drive in, with gates opening for us at 5:00 PM. Dinner will be available starting at 6:00 PM. Please bring your drink of choice. The movie will start around 9:00 PM.

If you happen to arrive before the gates open for general admission, just drive around the cars in line and go directly to the ticket booth. Just let them know you are with the Volvo event. They will collect your entrance fee and send you on your way.

Per the web-site, the admission is $10/person (kids under 11 are free) and they are a cash-only business. “Dunkirk” will be playing, which is a WWII movie. http://www.dunkirkmovie.com/

Here are a few Q&As about the drive in.

Are alcoholic beverages allowed? Yes, we sell Bud Light, Modelo and Miller Lite.
Can we bring a cooler/food? Yes, however we have excellent food in our snack bar. Check it out.

Do you take Debit/Credit cards? We do not. We are cash only.
