Wanted to introduce myself and to talk briefly of my car - this thread has a lot of pictures but I've done more performance mods and pictures weren't taken then - like clutch upgrades, UR pulley upgrades, sway bars, links, throttle adjustments, cables, etc etc. Injectors will be coming soon, getting 630cc Siemens Deka and another map tune for E85 soon.

My name is Keoni, from Hawai'i, moved to Pennsylvania and currently reside in Georgia though I still have a home in Pittsburgh and in Hawai'i (well, not my house but family's house) and I go between PA and GA often.

Posted this in the General section as I think that it might not be appropriate for R-Forum since its not really tech related, questions or help - so off topic is probably where I should have put this now that I think of it. I'm going to try to put this in chronological order.

First mod after warranty expired - its a sad day yet exciting day really. Warranty always gives a peace of mind but now I can mod at will without worry, so to speak. :)

I've always wanted TPMS in this Volvo, should have came factory in my oppinion:
<a href="http://s173.photobucket.com/albums/w63/keoni212/2004%20S60R/?action=view&current=IMAG0013.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w63/keoni212/2004%20S60R/IMAG0013.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Wanted a way to monitor my car's basic info:
<a href="http://s173.photobucket.com/albums/w63/keoni212/2004%20S60R/?action=view&current=IMAG0005.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w63/keoni212/2004%20S60R/IMAG0005.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

My car didn't have factory NAV, something I wanted when searching for my car. At the time of purchase, I never knew that I probably wouldn't have been satisfied, so I built my own unit from a salvaged unit I picked up at a junk yard, actually picked up a couple of them, got 3 for 100 total. 2 were broke but all I wanted was motors and housing. Bought some eBay monitors, took them apart and voila. I then picked up an entirely different unit and sold the custom made ones. I also mounted new radio and DiNOC wrapped the units. :)

I finally got a FMIC I wanted, Phuz put it in for me - very happy though the install broke my AC unit down the line as the added pressure of the FMIC install was pushing and bending against the unit causing it to rub against the radiator causing a crack in the side of the AC radiator leaking out my freon. Oh well... Installed my front and rear camera too while I was at it.
<a href="http://s173.photobucket.com/albums/w63/keoni212/2004%20S60R/?action=view&current=IMG_1352a.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w63/keoni212/2004%20S60R/IMG_1352a.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

My carbon fiber pieces was finally completed... front winglets, front splitter, boost gauge, spark cover, cam cover, fuel rail / tb cover. Installed iPD v2 boost guage - since day 1 the backlight LED works only 50% of the time, oh well...
<a href="http://s173.photobucket.com/albums/w63/keoni212/2004%20S60R/?action=view&current=IMAG0112a.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w63/keoni212/2004%20S60R/IMAG0112a.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Installed 6k HID foglights too while I was at it and changed main unit bulbs to 6k.

Tinted taillights with 35% high gloss film, installed CF trim, and did the dual rear fog light MOD.

Started thinking of exhaust, removed my Exhaust Bracket of Death. Took some notes, will tackle a custom setup later.

Redid my front grill, originally painted it black but now I painted it factory color to match! Installed new badge and grill backing as well.
<a href="http://s173.photobucket.com/albums/w63/keoni212/2004%20S60R/?action=view&current=IMG_1853-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w63/keoni212/2004%20S60R/IMG_1853-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Got pissed at my boost gauge, decided to take it apart and attempt to fix, after my 'fix' there has been no change, still light only works 50% of the time. Noticed my A-Pillars material was in deterioration so I wrapped that in DiNOC too - will redo my A-Pillars, radio surround and pop up dash grill in real carbon fiber very soon - hopefully haha.

Had to fix the front winglets, again!! Decided to two tone them and install my eyelines.

Front windshield cracked, had it replaced, instead of reinstalling my 'eyebrow' tint line, I tinted the whole thing! :)

After 1.5 years with no driver exhaust piece, I finally got another one! Car is almost complete!
<a href="http://s173.photobucket.com/albums/w63/keoni212/2004%20S60R/?action=view&current=2012-07-12193205.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w63/keoni212/2004%20S60R/2012-07-12193205.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Normally I wouldn't have so much CF exposed, but with a dark colored car, it worked well too - though later on I two tones a couple of my CF pieces.

This thread is a repost - I contacted a moderator to have it moved from one forum to this forum but figured it's just as easy to recreate the thread though I lost the original comments.

I figured everyone else was making one, why not I. :)

There are a lot I left out, mostly performance oddly enough cause, well, I just did.

Very nice, with all the carbon fiber parts you should wrap the roof in carbon fiber I think it would look good.

Also what tire pressure monitoring system are you using?

Thanks! The roof inlayed in real CF crossed my mind - I wouldn't have gone the whole trouble of removing the roof skin and inlaying a formed CF mostly because saving 50lbs in skin on a nearly 2ton car and still have my sunroof/glass/motors didn't make too much sense. So if I do it, I'll just remove the seals, lay an inlay of CF and reinstall the seals and trim, IDK, maybe, might be too much.

The TPMS is by Orange, bought it on eBay.

Yes, you are right!! Actually its a double negative, aside from the whole windshield being tinted, I also just removed the state/emission stickers all together. I'm not condoning and definitely not recommending others to do the same - but it looks damn good!

I applaud your efforts, well done...... except the wheels.
I do have the 19" Vanilla with the newer offset sitting new in boxes inside my garage still. :) Been that way almost a year haha. I'll get around to mounting tires and getting it on the car soon.

So when will we get the performance mod details? I'm very curious to know what all you've done and what kind of power you got back for your efforts.

and the highly ILLEGAL IN PA front tint
its only illeagal if you get caught

Yes, you are right!! Actually its a double negative, aside from the whole windshield being tinted, I also just removed the state/emission stickers all together. I'm not condoning and definitely not recommending others to do the same - but it looks damn good!
it does look nice, we do it all the time, charge a premium to do it and we never issue a reciept that we did it. CASH transaction never happened :)
