I just bought the new 'Ice' Turtle Wax, has anyone tried it? I'm going to wax my car tomorrow, it's supposed to be pretty good, you can use it on the plastic trim and in 100% sun(I'm still doing it in the shade) because it's 100% synthetic. It's worth a try. also, this is totally off topic, but my rear door pulls(where the window switches are) feel so creaky and cheap that it's almost embarassing when people sit in the back seat. My front ones are solid though. Is this anything that could be replaced, like under warranty at the dealer? It's the only thing in my interior that actually feels cheap and not screwed together right. It's been like this since new, not like it's developed over time.

Re: Turtle Wax 'Ice'-anyone tried it? (s40turbo585)

s40turbo585 - I just saw an infomercial on this today...how did the stuff work? Is it worth buying? I usually use Meguiar's liquid wax.

I have used it. I is great for the black areas on the car. Its pretty good on the paint but doesnt last very long at all. NXT is a litte better and is easier to use, but leaves the white residue on the black areas.
Zaino is by far the best around, but it is a layering wax, which means you have to put a few good coats on for a perfect look.
Check out this link for a zaino'd car. Its my buddies.
http://www.zainostore.com/Merc...H.htm

Re: (VelociTee5)

ya, I ordered Zaino last night. I just wanted to try out that Ice stuff, but I think I'll just save it for the black trim on my car...

I have used the polish. It is very nice on the black trim. I agree it doesn't last long, but it adds a little nice touch after you wax. It's quick, and you can't screw up and leave residue anywhere....big plus. So it's fast, and descent.
