I have tried every tip in here...can it be turned off on the MY06?
I have tried 5 successive presses. I have tried 5 presses with a one second pause between each.
I have also tried both versions with say 6 presses, 7 presses, etc.
All I can ever get is the reduced function.
I have done this while driving and while at a standstill.

Should work..
Check the display change with each push. Any missed push and you can start all over again.
Default is on.
Push --> Reduced
Push --> On
Push --> Reduced
Push --> On
Push --> Anti Skid off

Re: Turning off the DSTC on MY06 (Johann)

Eric - trick i use is to push and hold DSTC button until dashboard display changes (so 1st press is usually quick, 2nd press is long, 3rd press is quick, 4th is long and fifth is quick at which it shows "anti-skid off"). Nothing more complicated than that - no need to keep track of timing or anything, just let up on the DSTC button when you see the display change
-thes

Eric, I can confirm to you that you can definitely turn off DSTC on MY06. I've done it several times.
