I don't know if I totally missed this or what, but I was browsing the 2006 R technical specs here:
http://www.volvocars.us/models/s60/techSpec.htm
And I couldn't help but notice that Volvo listed the turning circle as 38.7 ft. Is that correct?

The turning radius is smaller for non R's.

I think it was just a typo. Trust me as an owner of an '06 R

Turning circle on my 06 V70R is very very wide, I doubt it is 38 ft. Even the simplest turns become 3 points. However, the car is so good otherwise that I don't really care about this nuisance.
I would think that a base 2.5T with narrower tires would do a bit better.

I can turn that baby anywhere (even make a u-turn in the middle of my street on one shot) which is why I kept it. I need a car I can manuever in the city and the R won't cut it.
