I have a few questions regarding turbo insulation. Now, I assume that insulating the compressor side is beneficial to the engine carpment as it keeps heat and should help the turbo spooled up by doing so. The kit came with the turbo insulation as well as thermal wrap to cover the down pipe and header(if I had one) and can be seen here: http://www.thermotec.com/produ....html.

I was wondering if there might be any benefits to wrapping the cold side as well? I might think that it would keep other unwanted hot air from warming that side of the turbo?

Have any of you ever seen or done this type of mod and did you notice any results? I've haven't read many success stories about how this improved anything, but how could it hurt the performance?
