any tried putting the fuel rail/injectors from a turbo volvo to an NA?
I cant get a turbo and i love my 2.4L but im trying to come up with crazy ways of boosting the power. So anyone tried this... or think it might work?

Not a whole lot can be done to a NA engine

It'll be slower. Its not like you can turn up the "suckiness" on an NA to balance out that much extra fuel.

Re: (95854turbo)

The injectors from a turbo have a higher capacity fule flow. I suspect that if you put them in, the ECU will start with the normal duration of fuel flow for the injector, and will quickly discover that the engine is running too rich, because the injector flows more fuel for the same amount of time that it is flowing fuel. I don't know, but I suspect that the ECU may not be able to compensate for the increased fuel flow, and it will run rich, and produce a CEL for the overly rich mixture. Will NOT give you more power.

More Air Consumption gives you more power. Not the other way around.
More Fuel Consumption with the same amount of air -- equals less power.

Running too rich -- wasting potential power.
Running at optimum fuel -- maximum power.
Running too lean -- overheating pistons, valves, and exhaust.

All putting larger injectors into your engine will do...
Uneven rich idle
Unburnt fuel will leach down and dilute the oil
Surge and uneven rpms at cruising speed
