Hi all, I was wondering if I could get some input as to what could be going on here. I was checking the undercarriage and engine, trying to see if there’s anything I should be looking out for. I found this oil residue

on the turbo, on the intake side I believe. It seems to be a bit cakey, so I was wondering if this is a a major alarm, or is this normal? I would hate to have to replace the turbo, so I’m crossing my fingers it’s just the seal. Any suggestions, feedback, or advice would really be appreciated

That's generally PCV related oil from the intake system. Either leaks from the intake side or the outlet side. Check the Couplers and clamps. Also, check the oil line connections into and out of the turbo. Leaks there are more worrisome.

I'd definitely do a pcv test to make sure its not making too much blowby.
