This is more of a reference thread. I had a customer ask to deactivate the kick sensor on their XC90. I had a tech look in the computer and there wasn't a software way to deactivate. However, unplugging two wires in the back for the sensor did of course work, and better yet, so far hasn't thrown any codes! Customer had done a search online and couldn't find anything so I'm tossing this up for the next person. Cheers.

Thank you for posting your solution. I believe someone here asked that same exact question and no one knew how to deactivate.
