Just had my tranny fluid flushed at 140 k miles and the difference is noticeable
I had brought the car in for the regular service and asked the dealer about the tranny flush. He said they normally don't do it, but don't mind doing it if asked...
I hope my automatic tranny will last longer now! In any case it shifts much smoother now, I hardly notice when it changes!

Re: Tranny flush (Alex960)

Yeah. The difference is usually so dramatic, you'd think the dealers would drop that silly "no fluid change" policy just to generate more happy customers.

Re: Tranny flush (Alex960)

Alex, did the dealer do a true, complete flush or just a "drain and fill?" When I asked them about the flush for my '04 V70 they told me they would only drain and fill and can't do a true flush like I was able to have done locally for my S70...unfortunately the local shop I used "still" doesn't have the fittings for their machine for my post '99 car.

Re: Tranny flush (MadeInJapan)

They really did a complete flush, I didn't even have to insist or anything
