So I'm writting this from mY mechanics garage because I'm pretty much stuck here
for the next 2 hours.
Basically I did up tune up today on m 02 s60 t5 awd
and changed my tranny oil. After this was done the tranny
started skipping 3rd gear and the tranny service message came on.
We scanned and only thing we figured out is we might need to
reset comp with vct2000.
Any ideas on what could of happend and what to check?
Re: (Chilled Man)

HI
Bought it directly from volvo.
So finally we found out that with these cars u need a vct 2000 scanner to reprogram because when u drain the tranny oil apprently as soon as it loses contact with the temperature sensor there is a high risk of malfunction and thats y it kept skipping third gear.
This is pretty funny since the vct 2000 is made only for volvos from my understanding, and is acouple thousand bucks.
2morow my mechanics buddy will come with it and hopefully my baby will be back on the road.
Will keep u updated.

Re: (SweedRace)

You also should check the B4 servo.
Cheap part to replace ($15 US) and about 20 minutes labor.
You also need to reset the adaptions and do the new "drive cycle", this is important
