I have 2005 V50 -- 7k miles.
I was driving approximately 10 mph in traffic when my car started to make horrific noises as though the engine was going to wretch out of my car. Had it towed to dealer.
According to my repair invoice, the "transmission bolt torn out. damage axle. repair & replace transmission mounts and bolt. repair & replace left front axle."
Repair was covered by warranty.
I'm genuinely concerned about the safety of my vehicle after this incident. Thankfully, I was in traffic and traveling slow when this occurred. I shudder to think what the results would have been if I had been driving at a high speed.
Has anyone else had this problem or repair? I'm concerned that I may have a "lemon".
Thank you for your kind responses

Re: Torn transmission bolt on 2005 V50 (jelly)

more like the bone head that built the car forgot to torque the bolt tightly and it fell out, there are other mounts onthe car, just the rear lower dog bone mount keeps the engine from torque movement. Stuff happends...
