I just got my 3 in Svenske exhaust on last weekend from a friend who had it in his garage for a while. (THANKS MAX!!) This setup is awesome! Little burbble at idle nice mid range and the top end is just plain wicked. What a bunch of fun I am definetly going to use up more gas for atleast a month or so cause all the romping and coasting and romping HeHeHe. I actually can get it to backfire in 1st through 3rd if I bump the shifter right at redline WOW what a great sound. I have also been taking all the local routes around town that I can find with tunnels THIS IS FUN... http://********************/smile/emthup.gif http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Does it have the magnaflow muffler in the rear section?

If not, you will want to add that, eliminates the off-throttle resonance between 2-3K rpm.

Svenske + magnaflow still is the best sounding exhaust I've heard on the R, (and I've had more exhausts than anyone I think) followed closely by Jetex. The others sound good as well, I just really liked the particular tone of the Svenske once the Magnaflow made it livable.

Magnaflow also makes a perfect double wall tip that is higher flowing even for the Svnekse once it turns gold.

Amen. Without the Magnaflow, the SvR exhaust is just WAY, WAY to loud.
Add a Magnaflow muffler and it is perfect.


Cruising around town it doesn't draw much attention to itself, but if you get on it, you can still really turn heads.


If yours is a origonal SvR, I'm afraid it's a ticket waiting to happen.

HaHaHa yeah Donnie I dont think I will get a ticket for the volume but is sure is hard to sneak up to 60 late at night anymore. Im sure the 5-0 can hear me coming way before I get there... I might look into the magnaflow though. The drone around 2.5 RPM is like a 15 inch woffer on a constant huuummm, that is easily fixed with a stab on the throttle http://********************/smile/emthup.gif But I still love it.

Yeah, the drone is bad. Plus, when you get the rpm's up, the system needs to bleed off the excess boost and the exhaust gas is sent past the turbo (which usually muffles things quite a bit) and that's when the original Svenske gets so much louder.

Maybe not where you live, but around here that nasty high rpm exhaust note WILL get you a ticket.
