TME V70 R 2000 gains performance<br>During recent test at the MTE test laboratory in Stockholm, Sweden, TME showed the potential of the V 70 R AWD modelyear 2000. The MTE Rototest chassis dynamometer displayed no less than 347 lb ft at 3500 rpm and unbelievable 323 hp at 5500 rpm. Torque number were over 340 lb ft in the range 2700 to 4000 rpm and power was in excess of 320 hp from 5000 to 6500 rpm.<p><br>hmmm. 320hp & 340 ft lbs. o'that is nice <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0"> <br> <br>

Very nice, I wonder what's the tranny loss figure they use for this car when performing the chasis dyno. Regardless, they were never known for overestimating the HP gain, MY 2000 owners should really appreciate the power from the 19T. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emwink.gif" BORDER="0"> <p>Hmmm.....power.....hehehe...can't wait to put my turbo on.

I read that the other day......wanna trade R's, Chris? That's almost 40 more hp than a chipped & exhausted <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emwink.gif" BORDER="0"> 98 can make.

Hrm, is that going to be considered their ``Stage 3'' programming? I wonder if they plan to allow any type of upgrade process, for existing owners.

Good question-- I haven't dealt with IPD to know what type of customer service they offer, hopefully it is a minimal charge for them to reflash the ECU with the updated info.
