Test drove Titanium Edition here in Vermont. Wonderful handling car. Want to throw it into every corner. However, no AWD and no DSTC would seem to make it a poor choice for the winters and hills of Vermont even with aggressive snow tires. Any experience with the FWD versions, snow, and hilly driving that would disagree with that? Would love to be wrong -- its a beautiful machine.

Sure, AWD is king when it comes to snow. But FWD with STC is impressive. I understand Vermont can be tough in the winter but I think if you equip a car like the V70 with quality snow tires it should do OK except when it comes to real deep snow.
