So, our '20 XC40 original Pirellis lasted a full 45k miles and still had passable tread left. I started shopping at the 40k service even though the SA said 'probably another 10k before needing replacement'. I was surprised as this vehicle is used for 0-60...60-0 traffic in rapid repetition for 10 miles a day(in the central Texas summer heat). I usually start looking for tires around 30k and was very pleasantly surprised at the performance of the stock Pirellis. Even though the original tires showed no signs of unusual wear or ride issues, I'll get an alignment within a week or so.
