Car: 2021 Volvo XC60 Cross Country Wagon
I went in to dealer for an inspection sticker at and was told I needed new tires to pass inspection, low tread. I was surprised and asked why? Was this normal? They said it was normal, "car 4 years old", "alignment issue". I got the new tires, $1300.
I have regularly & religiously maintained my Volvo, tires rotated. I don't drive or brake hard, don't ride on rough roads, etc..
This just doesn't sit well with me. The tires on my last Volvo lasted to about 60k miles. Am I overreacting?
Also had to replace motor for parking sensor, $400. I had brought it in a couple times before because the sensors were not working properly, but they always said they couldn't find anything wrong because there was no alert/code thrown.
Iove my Volvo, but am considering other brands at this point.
Please & thanks.
