My car came with 16" rims (215/65/16 tires).

I put on OEM 17" rims (235/55/17 tires) and now get a sound when turning into a driveway at full steering lock (or close to it).

The dealer says there is no steering stop or limiter available for this model, and they've never had complaints about this model.

Has anyone encountered issues with tires rubbing?

I found this, but again dealer says it's not for the XC70: http://www.skandix.de/en/spare-part...-assembly/steering-angle-limiter-kit/1065055/
Edit: OK actually the site says this part is only for 2008-11, not for my 2012.

Mine is rubbing as well, at both ends, and both forward and reversing.

But as ProlixArgon says, there's plenty that has lowered their car and mounted bigger wheels without issues, so I'd guess we have some other problem too.

A friend said we should check my wheel arch covers, and see if there's some deformation that could be the cause. I did get those angle limiters though, but not sure how they're installed :p
No info on VIDA nor supplied with the parts.

Strange. I just upgraded to 17’s and no issues at all. I went with 235/55.

I don’t believe stopping limiters are possible with the xc70 control arms. Having said this if there are bolt holes, give it a try.
