Your manual states when it should be replaced. You'll likely need to replace an idler wheel and tension pulley too. Pick up a Haynes or similar manual. My car required replacement at 105,000 miles and $400 to a dealer. I tried myself and spun the crank pulley just an inch and couldn't get the cams to alighn properly again - hence the $400 to the dealer to do the job correctly. I did not replace the water pump. Read your manual for time/mileage to replace things.
