I have to do new front rotors and pads all the way around on my 04 S60R. I have always liked posi quiet pads even though they dont stop as good as some others. What do you guys think? What about the drilled and slotted rotors on ebay?

I HIGHLY recommend the rotors in your second link they are from a small business a bit down the road from me. Very nice people, quality products, good pricing. http://drt-sport.com/ <---Just a bit more info on them. I recommend the StopTech Street Performance pads as they are remarkable and silent!

stay away from eBay crap - those will crack, and destroy your calipers and rims at the same time.
I'll never forget the time when I bought eBay drilled rotors for my S40 - they developed cracks over time.

Tasca.com will have the best deal on OEM rotors and pads - can't go wrong with Brembo

I just installed DRT's ( just slotted, not drilled) a few months ago. I heard rotors with holes are only good when they are cast that way, otherwise they have been drilled and aren't as durable. DRT's are pretty good quality, although the hub coating isn't as thick as I expected. They do stop well with the hawk ceramics I also installed. So far so good.

Agreed, I have 108,000 miles on my VR and the original rotors and 2nd set of pads. I can guarantee you I will buy OEM when it all needs to be replaced.

Slotted rotors actually only beneficial under extreme condition ie. track days and wet conditon.
If you don't plan to do track days i suggest you go with blank rotors.
Slotted rotors greatly decrease brake pads life.
I have slotted rotors on my car and I only only have about 25000km city driving on my StopTech pads.
