Orpheus. For 250 that's a steal in what looks like new condition.

My friend, be sure you understand the turning radius limits of upgrading to 17”. Unless you are going to also install hub spacers don’t do it...unless you live in the country and are not at all concerned with making reasonable 3 point turns.

I know the area well. Lovely spot when the weather warms up. Sounds like you have it all under control. Those wheels ARE nice looking!

No issues with turning radius on these wheels with 225 series tires. They fit perfectly on my lowered V70.

Good Score!!
I can only dream of finding deals like that!!
Yep! p225's work fine OR spacers under the turn stops and I can use the P235's and don't give up too much turn radius....Spacers? yeah I'm too cheap to buy proper R turn stop.
Cheers

Great find! They look nice and clean! I think advantage of the 235 width tires is better rim protection, especially if the tire you get has a nice rim protector built into it. I don't like the tire rub myself with my "17 Tethys, but Volvo is well aware of the tire rub issue and purposely put a metal plate in the fender well because of this so that the plastic liner wouldn't be eaten through.
