For a defaced Peg?
I took the car in to have the two front tires changed, now the passenger side wheel has a huge scrape all the way around. I didn't notice it till this morning, I picked the car up from service Friday.
Its definitely from the machine they use to put tires on, it goes all the way around, its a uniform mark, there is no actual grinding pattern showing from any concrete curb, just a uniform mark where the paint was removed all the way around. Plus, I havn't parallel parked my car in over a month, last time i checked my pressures there was no scrape, I'm 100% sure it happened while in the dealers possession.
Anyone who has had experience with Bill Gray Volvo, think it is worth making a trip out there and complaining?

Re: Think the dealer will take responsibility? (Spizzy)

It's worth complaining... just be careful what you ask for, and what they follow through with.
I had the dealer scuff up every rim around the lug bolts when the car was new. They said they'd have it repaired. I figured the repair would be a 'touch up' - well, they hired an outside mobile wheel refinisher who painted the rims in a sandy lot on a windy day... when I had to go back and have them paint again, it was the wrong color, and you could still see the scuff marks. The paint is also peeling with less than 10K miles on the rims
If you can get them to acknowledge responsibility, you might have a chance...
