So my GF pretty much drives my car all of the time. I guess I only touch it during the weekends when we are out and about. Yesterday on her ride to work she got a blow out on the RR tire. I guess when it happened she went into the grass in the median and spun out into the safety wire guard rail. Well, the car is now totaled. The pictures don't do it justice. I think about every square inch of the car is dented/scratched. She is perfectly fine. No glass broke and the airbags did not deploy. So now I'm awaiting the fun game of dealing with the insurance company to pay it off as I owe a little bit more than NADA. Sorry about the pics as we took them with the phones.<p><br><A HREF="http://img525.imageshack.us/my.php?image=60822909.jpg" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3430/60822909.th.jpg" BORDER="0"></A><br><A HREF="http://img509.imageshack.us/my.php?image=68578699.jpg" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/9151/68578699.th.jpg" BORDER="0"></A><br><A HREF="http://img208.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img00011u.jpg" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/1530/img00011u.th.jpg" BORDER="0"></A><br><A HREF="http://img395.imageshack.us/my.php?image=66636494.jpg" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://img395.imageshack.us/img395/9783/66636494.th.jpg" BORDER="0"></A><br><A HREF="http://img208.imageshack.us/my.php?image=87316505.jpg" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/5449/87316505.th.jpg" BORDER="0"></A><br><A HREF="http://img509.imageshack.us/my.php?image=19283957.jpg" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/2259/19283957.th.jpg" BORDER="0"></A><br><A HREF="http://img145.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img00012.jpg" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/2527/img00012.th.jpg" BORDER="0"></A><p> <p><br>

Re: (chromecarz00)

Most likely I will let her buy a new car since I have a work vehicle. But everyone needs a toy so I think its going to be a 1968-72 Chevy C10. I'm a truck man at heart.<p>Something like this:<p><br> <IMG SRC="http://www.testriffic.com/resultfiles/11122c10.jpg" BORDER="0">

Re: (carreragt7)

She is safe and yet the car still didnt deploy its bags. Volvo is doing something right i guess if they dont even require using bags unless the impact is very severe <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0">

Re: (ForceFed Motorsports)

Yeah, I was super surprised at the airbags size and placement in my car when I was removing the headliner, I didn't realize it was one airbag for the whole side of the car.

Re: (ForceFed Motorsports)

I can see why there was no deployment. Very good indeed. The damage was really due to the high tension wires tearing the outer body and mainly suspension components and not actual impact. Done right. And what really surprised me was the fact that no glass was broken. Even the sunroof. <p>A+ for safety.<br>C for resale value
