My wife and I took her R and my 911 out today since the weather here was very nice. It had been raining everyday for weeks, so I finally had a chance to detail her car and go for a drive. We stopped by a covered bridge near us for some photos and figured I'd share them here.

Man do I hate that stupid front plate...
Pat

Re: The S60R and her German roomate photos ;) (JRL)

Thanks R Rated, I got her a few years back in basically non-running condition and have completely rebuilt the engine/trans/suspension and more over the past couple of years.
JRL, it's a 74 and that is how it was from the factory. I think they switched to black trim when production went from the narrow bodied style to the wider flares and the 2.7L to 3.0L in 1978.
Edit: It's actually mostly anodized and polished aluminum not really chrome. The lighting in the pics makes it look more bright than it is in person.
Pat

Lets see - covered bridge. SW Ohio?? Any chance that covered bridge is somewhere near a town called Greenhills? Bridge looks like one at the edge of Winton Woods.

A great car combo - especially love the ducktail! Now if I can just convince my wife to allow us to fill the third bay of our garage with my Dad's '63 356 Karmann Hardtop
Regards,
Derek

Re: (R_Rated)

R_Rated, nice Targa, are you on pelicanparts also?
Owls, the bridge is on Ballard Rd, http://www.ohiobarns.com/covbr....html It's one of the few I know in the area that you can still drive on.
Sue/bb vign, thanks, the duck tail is one of the few things I strayed from stock on. I think it makes the older coupes look so much cooler.
Pat

I swear I saw that same bridge on a movie... something to do with a pumpkin head horseman comes out of tree, slashing his way around, and look for his severed head.
