The return of my R's glory!

Since the first day I got my car, I've been a bit upset with having a CPO R with factory body kit...but no winglets!!!

Now, with the assistance of Mike aka Fasts60r (Thanks!), today the glorious winglets of glory arrived in the mail, and they're going on the car later this week. Straight OEM, never been on a car, painted Black Sapphire, Mike is the best!

I wish I had the OEM body kit

Can't wait to see the pics once you get them installed.

Yours will go on before mine, and I have had mine for a while now. I can't stand looking at my car, knowing that I have what I need to fix it, but I have to wait.

Yeah I can understand that. I've had my R for 18 months now without winglets...it's been rough!!!

They look great. I am going to get mine touched up hopefully next week.
I wanted to see how much sexy stuff I could pile on one couch. This is what Thursday looks like for me...

YES ! I know, I know that there are various and understandable reasons some people don't have or remove their winglets, but I don't think anyone should be able to say they have the body kit while missing what is in my opinion the best part ! Good on you for finding some ! http://********************/smile/emthup.gif http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

But it's also the cheapest part, having sides and rear makes a huge difference over just a plain old R with zero ground effects.

That being said, I think we can all agree...the only thing left is some GOLF CART STREET GLOW http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Actually, late this year/next year I'm thinking that some extreme pimp lighting may be in order...

I think one of those tiny gas grills would be perfect for the rear.

Yeah I know exactly how you feel! I've had mine withought winglets since purchasing it in August and just recently got them. No more winglet envy everytime I see them at the car meets lol.
That looks awsome, my winglets are busted up ( wife thought the car wanted to kiss the curb), what did you pay for them, and did that include painting? How do they hold up against the carbon fiber ones.
Re: (thorne)

I got the FPR unpained ones from CarbonFiberWerks and will be painting them myself.. seems like the cheapest way to go.
