I've been driving a loaner, I've been driving my girlfriend's car, I've been driving my beater - and every time I approach a rather large bump or undulation in the road, my body tenses, I 'pucker up,' and I grip the wheel with anticipation, expecting the car to hop away in any direction.
The sidehop is my "R" is not bad, by any means, and I've come to accept it (for the moment), but it has made me paranoid with all of the other vehicles I drive!
:/rant:

Re: (Chilled Man)

This is the opposite for me. I drove my wife's Accord around this weekend and was aiming for everything. "It ain't my R, I can hit that pothole and not knock my fillings out"

What I love is when you come to a cross street and see nothing and hit so hard you look for the car that hit you...you listening Stamford CT?

Re: The "R" Has Made Me Paranoid~! (AthruC)

Yeah well I for one am happy that summer is here so I don't have to drive the R as much cause as some of you know I recently had the suspension done and guess what? I am getting the chassis settings message again intermittently.
I hit harder potholes with my bike than the R.
+1 on hitting potholes with other cars also, rentals, loaners etc.... I was talking to Dan on Sunday and I think
Someone needs to figure out how to switch over to normal sport suspension while being able to get rid of the 4c warning messages.

I'm not sure why all the pissin and moanin about the 4C all the time -- for daily driving it handles as well or better than my e46 did -- especially considering the size and weight of the car.
As far as dodging potholes?? You guys should take out my 911 some time.
