This 2014 Saab 9-3 Aero is likely the oldest new car you're likely to see on sale today. And weirdly that probably means it'll be one of the more expensive old new cars you see on sale today. And that's because it's the last of its kind.

Built in 2014, it was the car to leave the former Saab factory in Trollhattan, Sweden.

It makes 220 hp from its 2.0-liter inline four, and is one of just 420 9-3s produced after NEVS (National Electric Vehicle Sweden) bought Saab in 2013-making it awfully rare, indeed.

It's essentially identical to the 9-3 that Saab produced before being sold, but doesn't have a griffin badge because of issue with the rights: that issue being that it does not own them.

The car will be shown at the Saab car museum this weekend (June 7-9) before being auctioned off.
