This is the end of Silverstone's run on the F1 calendar.
Brawn and company are confident of their chances coming into the weekend.
Ferrari is optimistic after their uninspiring Turkish form, though, it has been reported that Massa will be running a new, lighter weight chasis with a revised front suspension and a shift in weight bias towards the front in an attempt to get more grip to the front tires; their KERS is supposedly lighter in weight too.
Oh and Hammy has a new helmet.
http://www.formula1.com/news/f....html
... and of course the F1 world is still undecided as to what will happen next year but what else is new

Vettel's the real deal. That kid is QUICK!!
I am heartened by Ferrari's "performance", no big mistakes (should I even be having to say this?), both in the points. This season is so over for them as far as the titles go, but I want to see them working sanely and succesfully. I am still sketched out about the spaghetti culture, although its starting to look a little more composed at the scuderia.
Otherwise, Red Bull has themselves a true title challenger. I think they might have something for the Brawns, and Vettel, imo, is the best driver out of the 4 on both teams. It looks daunting now, but several more wins, with Webbo taking the 8 points instead of Jens, and we might yet have ourselves a fight.

Vettl has always shown flashes of brilliance from the first.
He is my wife's favorite.
I remember his rain race first win at Monza...drove the wheels off the car.
Go Vettl!
(sad showing for British racing fans!)
