After reading several posts about the 06 heat sensor / limp home failure I was able to convince my SA to upgrade my ECU on a preventative basis. Helped a lot to have the posts to show him. Thanks guys
Also, after taking the Rossos down to the wear bars in 15K miles I got Nero M+S's installed. So far I love these tires.
Much more comfortable, quieter and seem to handle well. Most of my limited driving on them to date has been driving up the pacific coast highway with my wife in the car, so I have yet to explore full out handling, but it will come, and initial twisties were fun. Can also go skiing next year without worrying, and hopefully can retire the peg touch up paint.
Sooo much better!

I had these tires on my VW and I loved them as well. I'm going to put them on our R in the fall.

they are pretty good tires, I bought them back in fall of 2004 for winter tires, then began to use them as everyday tires once I got sick enough of the rossos. I doubt they are as good overall as PS2 all-seasons, but they offer a lot of bang for the buck. Mine have worn quickly though--I've got somewhere around 14000 miles on mine and I'm at 6/32 tread remaining

I think they have about 20k miles on them (I got them last August) and are down to 4/32nds. I'm going to replace them with snows in the fall, then next spring get a new set on new rims.
