Happy Friday Everyone! Spring is upon us! Goodbye Winter!

Rants:
It was sleeting this morning. Hello? It's spring!!
Absurd $600 in labor to change out the power steering return line on my R. Not!
Idiot, incompetent designer that works for my partner's company
I would fire her in a second. She is fricking useless.

Raves:
Plans for surprise birthday party for my brother...his girlfriend is very funny and this should be fun!
If weather is decent, hoping to refinish (or start) an antique patio set I inherited from my grandma. Taking it from white to bronze to coordinate better with our new deck.

Wearing: Pajamas...but I'd better get moving...have a meeting at 8:30. Will report back later.

Guilty pleasures of the week:
Bullrun on Speed TV,
Fast driving while listening to "Shake your Bon Bon" By Rickey Martin. (I don't know how it got on my ipod, but that song is hillarious!)

Have a fantastic weekend!

Guilty pleasures of the week:
Bullrun on Speed TV,

My 3 year-old insists on watching Speed on Fridays. It starts with Monster Jam, next is Pinks All Out, and we usually end with Bullrun.

He's not going to learn the strokes of an internal combustion engine by watching Sesame Street.

Rants:
Need new contacts. Or lasik.
Need to makes more beer.
Should have listened to sh8kdwn and put CAI through the snow valve... What does a new airbox bottom run me?

Raves:
Spent wednesday gettting paid to look at computers and watch cartoons. Sometimes my boss has a side project for me that involves either a nerds dream or excessive amounts of loafing.
Had 220 mile round trip yesterday. CAI install is necessary with a DP IMHO. Pull was steadier as RPMs go up , engine seems a little less strained on initial boost (subjective butt dyno).
Mileage on highway was 28 with a very heavy foot. Royal purple may be helping, but I find that hard to completely attribute to oil change.http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Judging by the difference in filters between the R and the regular 60 it looks like the bottom of the airbox is not a shared item. Finding a used one might prove a bit difficult so a call to John at BVV for a quote would yield a price. I'd guess it would be north of $200.

Do you still have the 960 on the road? If so I can flex my mad bondo skills to clean it up but it may be a day or two of down time while it sets. Could be a great excuse for a custom lid project.

Happy B-day hoagrod.

Rants:
Got my "bonus" from work. It's funny.

Low bonus and crappy tax return equals no rims for the R right now.
Need to finish my taxes

Raves:
It's beautiful in MA today. May need to ditch work and try to design a new CAI for the R.
EST should be on the way soon.

Eh, I could use that cosmetic box to the right and cut it up. Not a big deal. The tube is routed.

Great beers! I am trying to figure out a road trip to catch a beer class they give. Have a Nosferatu (or four) for me.
