Happy Friday Everyone!

Rants:
What shoulda stayed in Vegas didn't and both husband and I are sick as dogs this week.
Major jet trip to factory with client CEO that took 6 months to pull off was yesterday. I survived and the trip went well but truly was way too sick to go.
Today I am paying the price - high fever, sinus infection and laryngitis. Not fun.

Raves:
I might feel better by the end of the weekend. One can only hope.

Wearing:
Pajamas and an eye mask. Sorry...no glamour this week.

Drinking:
Nyquil, Vitamin Water, Regular water.

Sincerely hope you all are doing better than me! Have an fab time at the meet on Sunday!

My 16 yr old son is just not getting the concept of responsibility, therefore, will have to suspend his driving privileges until he can do better.

Raves
Grateful to have a son that's really great overall - just having to get through to the teenage brain.
A custom made DP and exhaust are in the works - stage 2 tune

Rants:
Last day on the job. Feels really strange actually, I've never worked in one place for this long (7 years) before.

Got pulled over by a speeding trap cop yesterday, during a momentary lapse of not paying attention to the speedometer, in a know speed trap area

Raves:
The Cop who pulled me over really liked my car. Said he has to write me the ticket because he was being monitored, but skipped a couple steps on the ticket deliberately and told me how to get out of it because he liked my car so much. http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Put the summer tires back on last night. Ahh, feels so nice. Plus since I have no more job, now I have a lot of free time to go driving.

Planning a huge road trip through the east coast of the USA; nice to have the free time, no debts, and lots of savings.

Happy Friday!!

Rants:
-Weather sucks for the weekend. Enough wintery mixes already.
-Job sucks balls. Not only are the hours cut still, but now they're taking away our water machine, janitor service and rodent service. Employees get to do the dirty work now yaaah!

Raves:
-Got my roof spoiler, evolve deck lid spoiler and evolve tail light accents on. Looks great!!
-Fiance is going to be my sugar mama sooner than late
-My first cars and coffee tomorrow pending the weather. 4 or 5 of us R guys will be there.
-Forgot how good coffee was. Broke down and got a cup, wow it's good

Wearing:
Skid-marked ****** tighties with holes, hyper color t-shirt and grey knee high socks with a mysterious brown stain.

Drinking:
-Super America gas station coffee

Rants;
Radiator is leaking, passenger side endtank. Need to get 700 dollars to fix it because i am all of 3 months out of warranty. Waiting for the service advisor to call back. Otherwise, might get this:

Kicking myself because I didn't get it looked at in october when I had to top it off the first time, and it was still in warranty.

Raves:
Well, at least it isn't a head gasket.
Still very drivable for the next few months.
Good times last night. Columbus Brewing Company has delightful beer.
I still have fridays off.

-Getting new HomeLink sunvisor put in today after the seal split; all under warranty.
-Got my 'R' hat from BaxteR in the mail earlier this week; it is sweet!
-Finally expelled this cold and I can taste my beer again

*Weather suckos! warm but damp and misty the last 2 days = horrible car wash weather
*Free time being cut even more due to wife's illness.
*On the most boring of boring-est projects right now at work.
*High curbs. (had to re-seat my front bumper cover again this week, one side only this time)

Raves:
*I still have a job, so I'm thankful
*New tires magically appeared today (I LOVE TIRERACK) after ordering only 3 days ago.
*whole bunch of goodies inbound for projects, including the stuff to fab my new air intake
*6 year old daughter is the joy of my life right now. Nothing a hug or cuddle from her can't fix.

Had a headache for the better part of 3 weeks.

Raves:
-Headache is gone, finally.
-Passed my board interview with the FWC (Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission)!!!
-Gained 5 more pounds last month

-Having a hell of a time getting a designated driver for my bday this weekend.

Raves:
-Installed the powder coated R41s and they look sexy

-Going over to Chilled Man's in a bit to install the Svenske exhaust I bought. There will also be some glam shots...
-Going to see Fast and Furious with my old crew tonight! Out to the bar after that

-I turn 26 on Sunday, so Saturday nite I am going out with a bunch of friends to the Dave and Busters at Franklin Mills a little outside of Philly.
-My EST exhaust and 18 inch Pegs are both being sold this afternoon, which is going to fund my RICA tune!
-Cleaning up the R at m3ntos's house on Saturday so it can turn some heads at the car show that everyone is going to in Langhorne.

Probably more raves...I think this weekend has a lot of potential

-The weather is pretty crappy today.

-My annoying/disturbing/obnoxious/trashy neighbor's house is going to Sheriff sale on April 9, so she and her rug rats and all the trashy friends will be out of our neighborhood!!!

The amount of jobs around the house I put off over winter because it was too cold.
the hangover I have from waaaaaay to much booze last night.
The Disco needs an oil change.

Weather is looking good for the weekend - woohoo!
Might actually be able to get the wife out of the R - so I can have a drive.
Aparently I switched to wine last night so I still have most of my bottle of scotch left.

Raves:
- My 4 1/2 year old son with severe milk allergy (airway constriction, hives, vomitting) went in for NAET treatments (holistic treatment for the permanent elimination of food and other allergies) last weekend and so far this week has eaten pizza, yogurt, ice cream and cheese for the first time in his life. If I wasn't seeing it first hand, I wouldn't believe it...if you or someone you know suffers from severe allergies...check out NAET and send me an IM with any questions. - Work is progressing, albeit slowly, on my basement project. I can almost see my 90+" screen on the wall now.

- Successfully changed a flat tire (non R) on the side of the interstate during rush hour without getting killed.

- Have to be out of the office by 3pm today as we're being moved into our companies new $50M LEED certified building AND we're all going out for an early happy hour

Rants:
- 8 month old daugher has her 3rd ear infection in 6 weeks.

- Have to deal with getting new tires put on my wife's van this weekend
- Have to be out of the office by 3pm today in the middle of quarter end close and our FY10 plan submission is due Monday

- Moving into a $50M LEED certified building the same week the company announces I will not be getting a merit increase next year, my bonus is at risk and the employee stock purchase plan is gone

I feel for you as I know that the fevers are high and they the ears tend to kill them when they lay down.

Rants: Slow week at work. And nothing seems to come in until 4pm and they want to wait for 3 hrs jobs

Raves: Going to be a beautiful weekend and the Big Car Show is here.
Gorgeous cars everywhere on trailers around here this morning, all headed to Lowes Motor Speedway.

* If you remember from last week, I had smashed my finger, the nail is now starting to fall off. Its catching on things and kinda makes me go, blahhh.
* My 2+ year old daughter caught my cold, even though I have been really good at not spreading germs.
* Need more hours in a day to complete projects and jobs

Raves
* Sunny all week and into this weekend. Its been about 68 all week, ahh lovely CA
* R is running in top form
* My consulting biz is speeding up with more clients coming in (oh do I need the cash flow)

Rants:
The cat escaped my domain ... so I had to go out and buy some stuff (earlier this week, believe he escaped on Monday).
The stuff wasn't cheap
Raves:
Enjoyed building the fence since Tuesday, 2.5m high above ground + 70cm deep. Had to make concrete to secure the poles. The weather was fantastic ... believe it was today 20°c in shadow and the days before only a few lower.
Also had a nice drive yesterday to Eindhoven Airport (2x80km), my mom flew back to France, she received her last medical-injection against her "neck-hernia".

fluids:
Leffe Blond, will switch soon towards Absolut (haven't eaten yet a thing today, not even candy, it's now past 7pm so the fluids work fast

music:
The Police, Ghost in the Machine

plans:
looking forward towards the 2nd F1 race this weekend ... I really enjoyed the 1st. New rules just rock

Raves: 16 month old son is getting over his ear infection. Have a job and able to buy a V70R

Rants: Can not find the right V70R in the options that I would like. Snow is great in Colorado but no time to ski this weekend.
