You're not actually going to bolt that together and hide it all, are you?

How many people have a spare engine?

Didn't you get one with your R? That was the only way they could justify the 300HP claim

Seriously though, I got this engine from the scrapyard

Work is still being done on it.

The head has been ported and forged conrods and pistons will be going in soon.

Think it will all be done by the end of the month.

Not hurrying it as I want it done right.

Any suggestions will be most welcome

Re: (blot)

That reminds me of a great line by Stephen Wright -

"I got a new engine in my car..........................but I didn't take the old one out...........................Now I can go 500 miles an hour."

You should bolt them together side by side and make a V-10!!!!

That should make 600 hp too shouldn't it?

I remember someone in an Audi TT did that and it was sickly fast. There is a video of that floating around somewhere. Anyone have the link?

That Audi was by a German Tuning company called MTsomethingorother. It made over 800hp combined.

I remember reading in Car magazine (UK) about them running it over 200MPH on the autobahn.

Scary!

You can grind the exhaust lobes on the cams for more torque as a suggestion. I would say do this for your main and spare engine since #2 is
disassembled

I am still a bit leery of playing around with the cams as I have no experience on that matter.

You have any specifics in mind?

It looks like they could have worked the chambers alittle bit more, take down the side edges and polish the cambers. It doesn't look like they did anything to the chamber on the right. Valve job http://********************/smile/emthup.gif
