Last night I got a P0243 CEL and I believe my Phuzzy TCV might be the cause. I re-installed it 2 days ago and then this popped up. Checked all the connections and everything is good.

Luckily, I still have my stock one.

Anyone else have this problem before?

Do I need to reset the ECU when replacing the TCV back to stock to relearn?

Very much possibly similar to the IPD issue. I would just return to stock...It seems like the way to go.

is this a common issue when upgrading to a an aftermarket TCV???? I JUST got mine in the mail... and now im hesitant of whetheri should install it or not.. how long have u had yours for?

Nope no other mod to the wastegate or anything else, just the HD-TCV. My tubes are in great condition tho so i saw no reason to switch to new ones.

Directions for the HD TCV say to pull fuses 6 & 23 before installing it. Should i do this again when switching back to stock?

Ok, if its not 1 thing its another :\

after replacing the HD TCV with the stock one and resetting the ECU this pops up!

Ok, got home and reset the ECU again and took it for a drive and so far it hasn't stumbled and the code hasn't popped back up.... Fingers crossed...

brand spanking new lol less then 2 weeks old. I replaced my original, which still had some juice but I decided I should replace it since its 8yrs old

Just drove to work, no codes, no stumbling so I think (i hope) it was just a hiccup., I shall see.

Bought a DiCE unit so hopefully i can get it hooked up so I don't have to deal with a generic code reader.
