Gonna take her down with the guys and see what she's got.<p>I'll post my best slip tomorrow evening.<p>I'm going to hope for 13.8 IF.... I can launch the damned thing.<p>IPD stage 2, and turbo back exhaust are the only performance mods.<p>Predictions..........

If its your first time with the R......<p>15.<p>No offense, but its not fun to launch this car.<p>You may get it down to the low 14's. But since you might have taken the Trans Am to the Track.....depending on your experience and learning curve. You may be able to get it into the 13's.<p>Make your choice on tire pressure, I'd go really high, to give the car a chance to slip the tires.q

14? That's what people stock with even GT have ran before. I don't see why you wouldn't get close to mid 13's with a perfect launch.

I plan on at least one run of drive it as if I stole it. I know it'll be a real challenge to launch. 1 run of rev limiter / sidestep clutch is in the future.<p>Before anyone chimes in warning of iminent angle gear / clutch / etc failure I already know.

I predict that your angle gear will somehow fail J/K hope not.<p>high 13s would be nice, be sure to post your times.

It sounds like you can do a clutch job start to finish while on your lunch break! If you wanna go fast without breaking something, do this: Rev up the motor to about 3000 RPMs and--this is crucial--hold it there while slipping the clutch.

With DP and EST catback I ran 13.9 @ 103. <p>With Dp, 3" catback, intake, FMIC, and stage 2 ECU I want to run low 13s, if not a high 12 with a good launch.<p>Launching is a PITA, and if you want to do it right, you need to deal a good amount of punishment to the drive train...

I feel with that experience under my belt and more mods, I should be able to get down lower.<p>Was it you or someone else that used a race gas and weight reduction for good stock #s?
