Not sure how far you are from here, but generally speaking, "the dragon' is only a day trip. It does end in NC. so if you wanted to go sightseeing or enjoy the mountains , then i would say a weekend trip would be good.. <p>Earlier in the day is better as it gets sorta crowded, especially with motorcycles, so if yur wanting to get some speed, then earlier is better.

Sorry i have been busy.. <br>That would be a good time, the weather cools down but we wont have ice or snow till dec/jan (if at all). Plus you will miss the "season" and should have more open road to travel on.
