Tail light continues to blow fuses

I have a 2001 volvo s60 and I am having an issue with my right rear tail light. The 10A fuse for this does not blow right away when the engine is started, but rather it blows after a few minutes if driving, thus turning off my tail lights on the right side and my license plate lights. Has anybody experienced this issue and if so did you find a way to fix it? I believe it to be a ground issue with the fact that it takes some time to blow, where a short would blow as soon as power was going through it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I believe I have fixed it myself, I removed the wiring from the tail light housing and there was some dust in there that I cleaned out and reattached the wire, I drove around for about a half an hour without it blowing the fuse, if anybody else experiences this issue, I would try this inexpensive fix first
