Any thoughts on what the ride characteristics would be with the standard T5 wheels, and the sport suspension? Everyone (including the brochure) speaks of these two things together, but I did not opt for the 17" wheels (snow issues) but did get the sport suspension for better handling. I pick up my car in Sweden next week

Actually I don't want the 17", I want the standard 16" and buy a set of aftermarket 18" for summer months. I didn't order my car, that's why I had to get those options I don't want.

You're in D.C. and worried about snow?!? ;-) I'm in Fairfax, and the 17" wheels were fine last winter - handled like a dream.

Actually I like the 16 inch wheels better anyway, but with my driveway even the smallest snowfall makes for a long walk. For anyone else interested, now that I've driven my car (in Europe)I can tell you that the combination of 16 inch wheels and sport suspension is terrific. You get great handling with a smooth ride. Even at 120mph on the autobaun the car remains stable.
