Does anyone know if and how much upgrading a US 1.9t to a Euro T4 would cost?<P>Thanks.

I work at a Volvo dealer and unfortunatly, the T4 is not available here, TDS ((Tourist Doplomat Sales)or Overseas Delivery) or traditional purchasing methods. You will not be able to get a T4 here, sorry. The closest you will come is chipping a 1.9T. Could you get a T4 motor? sure, but a what cost, it wouldn't be the wisest investment of money.<P>

"Does anyone know if and how much upgrading a US 1.9t to a Euro T4 would cost?<BR>Thanks."<P>hi!<P> i had a Volvo Factory Tech tell me that there "might" be a 10 minute modification to the waste gate hose to get the same sort of power that the T4 makes,... but when he found out that mine was a '01, stated that the change would throw a 'Check Engine' light due to changes in the software between '00 and '01.<BR> so maybe you '00 guys are in luck?!<P><BR>cheers!<BR>e
