You are the patron saint of all NON-silver colors. You are their cheerleader and their CHAMPION! When folks come here for input on color selection, you sing the praises of every color under the sun in hopes of balancing out the comments.
Know what? I think that some of us actually prefer the other (possibly nicer?) colors -- they DO have more personality, that's for sure! We're just too chicken to spend hunks o money on a car in a color that we're afraid we might not like tomorrow or next year.
Yup, I'm convinced that if it weren't for your passionate non-silver comments, we'd see nothing but silver Volvos (or at least nothing but pro-silver comments here). For this, we are grateful, I suppose! Otherwise life would be boring. If EVERYBODY drove a silver one, how exciting would THAT be? Not very...
But back to the point here...that car above looks AWESOME. And yes, the painted side-skirts are nice touch. I mean, if you're gonna go the extra mile and put the kit on it, why not do it right and add ALL the nice finishing touches, like giving it that clean look (by having the color-matched side skirt thing)?!
Lastly, I wish our plates were long & thin like that. The chunky/boxy size of our US plates doesn't help the side-to-side "flow" on the rear end. Look how nice that looks above! Ahhh...the nice, clean, horizontal lines...

Hey Lisa,
yeah...I like to bite! It makes it more fun!!!
Thanks for the compliments; now I don't know who is more red, my car or my face!
Here is an interesting write-up that I found about colors of cars and what they mean for their owners!!! Hehehehehehehe!
What the color of your car says about you
See if it matches your personality

The British Royal Automobile Club came up with a list of what a car's color says about its owner.
Here is what your vehicle is telling people about you:
Black: Your're ambitious and status-seeking
Green: Your're ver traditional and an elitist
Blue: You're a team player and very sociable
White: You're aloof, dutiful and methodical
Gray: Your're understated and cautious
Silver: You have a sense of style, but you can be
pompous
Red: You're outgoing, impulsive, and easily bored

I just can't see you as being...pompous!!!
RED is definitely...me!
Yannis
