Sweet 1999 V70R AWD

Hey all:

I was surfing and found these pictures of a laser blue V70R AWD from the Nordic.

Okay let's take a look. In the first picture the most obvious thing is that this guy is using the cover for the 04 R on his. Apparently it will work for you 99 and 2000 guys. Don't think it will work for me. Also notice the ballast on the passenger side of the engine compartment. Then notice in picture 2 that he has the 03 C70 headlights. HIDs in the 03 housings. SWEET. The other thing that caught my eye besides the 18" Pegasus wheels is the dark grey head liner. Mine is light grey. Anybody else have the dark grey headliner. I absolutely love it. Anyways. Enjoy. Then take a look at the NordicR website. Lots of very nice cars.

I have a feeling that he used Alcantara material for the headliner. This is " a suede-like material that is cleanable, plush and used on certain VW and Audi models on the dash, door panel tops, seat centers, pillars, handbrake boot and shift boot." as vwvortex ppl call it. Very cool, but IMO too dark.

I was wondering about that engine cover fitting, I thought it would when compared my engine to a new R recently... looks nice.

Now that I see the 18s on, I like'em, may need to upgrade to a set of those as well after I save up for the Ohlins.

Great site, we need an identical one but in english.

I like the R registry. Jim - check out that site, some good stuff.

That's one nice looking wagon, that color is hard to find. I've only seen a hand full of R's in that color in Northern CA, looks awesome http://********************/smile/emthup.gif
